Requesting Public Records Under the Freedom of Information Act
Any person, business, or organization requesting public records of the City of Eastpointe, Michigan shall make a request in writing by completing the FOIA Request Form, or by any other means of written request, and presenting it to the FOIA Coordinator.  Requests for public records should be as specific as possible and must describe the public record sufficiently to enable us to find the public record.

City public record requests can be emailed to EastpointeFOIA@eastpointecity.org or faxed to (586) 445-5195.
For Police public record requests, please visit our Police Department's Records Bureau page, or your request can be emailed to Records@eastpointecity.org.

City open record requests can also be delivered in person during our normal business hours of Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or mailed to:
