MISSION STATEMENT The Mission of the Eastpointe Police Department is to continually serve the community with a sense of courage, dedication, and compassion and to always keep the citizen's best interests at heart. We will strive to earn the community's respect with our dedication to this cause. This will be accomplished through a broad based combination of traditional and innovative police services while always protecting constitutional and basic human rights. All members of the Eastpointe Police Department will stand accountable for their conduct.

VALUES AND GOALS

It is recognized that the Eastpointe Police Department is made up of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences that have joined together with the shared belief that the values expressed herein shall be conspicuous in all of our efforts to accomplish the mission of the Department.

It will be our collected goal to serve our community with a sense of P. R. I. D. E.

P Stands for professionalism. Our goal will be to project an image of the consummate professional.
R Stands for respect. Our goal will be to always conduct ourselves in a manner that will earn the respect of the community and to give the community the respect that they deserve, understanding that we ultimately serve them.
I Stands for integrity. We will serve our community with integrity. We value, and are dedicated to honest, loyal, and truthful behavior. We believe in the basic human right of all people to be treated equally with dignity, courtesy and respect.
D Stands for decency. We will strive to do the right thing at the right time for the right reason.
E Stands for excellence. This is the level of service to the community that we will constantly strive to achieve.

Together, by keeping in mind the above acronym, (P.R.I.D.E.), we will partnership with the community to keep the City of Eastpointe the safe, happy, and family town that it has always been.
