06/10/2010 - On Tuesday 6/15/10 the Public Works and Service department has scheduled a preventive maintenance project on the pressure relief valve at the intersection of Gratiot and 8 mile.  This project has the potential to disrupt the water distribution system.  Our customers may see a variation from cloudy water to discolored looking water.  We assure you that the quality of water is not affected. If you notice any problems please let your cold water spigot run until it clears up.  It is important for us to exercise the distribution system in non peak times to supply you with the gold standard that we try to manage for you our customers.  Please accept our apologies in advance for any inconveniences. This should be short term,  but it might be possibly for small flare ups for several weeks.
